Unpopular opinion: I don't really like Tom Baker or David Tennant as The Doctor. I have seen both of them in other roles and I appreciate their acting abilities in other shows, but I find their Doctors hard to take. Old Doctor Who, I liked Pertwee, Hartnell and McCoy. New Who I liked Eccleston and Smith.

The preview alone let me know that they were going to be on spot with the characters, so I was in. Avoided it completely until I had my own copy. I wanted to absorb it all in one night. And I did. Smile still om my face.

I hope the studio wont wimp out and decide not to inclue the whole mess between da bitch and Mark. This series has been excellent at adapting the comics so far. I want to see how they handle it.

I really like how Nolan started changing with the Thraxans and not Humans. Earth started Nolan's change, but it wasnt until the Thraxans that he realized how deep a hole he dug. Earth wasnt the exception to his viewpoint, but Thraxa was.

very disappointing 😂 Watched this couple years back Wasn’t even Mad found it funny, how they could mess up the plot, name pronunciation, white wash the main characters, The bending was atrocious I could have applied for a drivers license before one of the elements could hit me. The 6 guys stomping and yelling just for 1 medium sized rock to go within the general vicinity of the enemy is peak comedy! 😅

My Doctor is Baker (Number 4) because I was a little kid (like 5 or 6) and I watched him on PBS in reruns in the early 80's. 9 is definitely my favorite of the new Who with Matt Smith a close second. As the series goes on you'll see that 9 is very complex.

The Ninth Doctor is rarely anybody's favourite, but he is also rarely rated among the worst. Personally, I don't really like him, but he was the right Doctor for this part of his story, and Christopher Eccleston was the right actor to play him.

I truly Think you would fall in love with another anime "Inuyasha" pronounced in-you-a-sha. and yes there is a English Dub version. "Kagome (Ka-go-mae) a 15 year old girl, 9th grader in Japan. That is pulled into a well by a demon, 500 years in the past to Japans feudal era. where she meets Inuyash a half-demon that wants the sacarad jewel to make himself a full demon. the opening and closing music is very beautiful even tho it is in Japanese.

Kind of funny that Sanji's flirting came out as "manipulative" in the series, when in the original manga it was the exact opposite, with Nami doing the manipulation.

I didn't think anyone could replace Tom Baker (the current doc when I started watching as a kid) as my favorite Doctor, but David Tennant's doc is just amazing. Matt Smith and Peter Capaldi are both fantastic as well!

Eccleston was my favourite nuwho doctor until Capaldi. Capaldi replaced him because he was most like classic doctor Jon Pertwee who is my all time favourite doctor. Also, Capaldi smashes scenes like no-one else can. His last series is just incredible. Capaldi IS the doctor. The others are nuwho doctors.

So, yes, this show can get quite dark (at times). Get ready😁😎

Rose is by far my favorite companion ever (including the first run on BBC that started back in...60s? 50s? I can't remember, I'm too old...). But that may be because I instantly fell in love with her when these first came out. 😊❤

they really did well with zeff and sanjis relationship here, and im glad you felt so connected to them this episode!! i cant even imagine how much youd cry when watching the goodbye scene in the anime, because that one is even more heartwrenching lol. in general, in the anime, every sad scene is multiples more sad because they reaaally take their time with making your heart bleed :D and now the next 2 episodes are my favourites together with episode 5, so im very excited to see you react to them next yay!!!

Being the first episode of the revival series, Rose had to focus on establishing the main characters. The End of the World had the freedom to just open up and have fun. We're also early enough into the series that continuity lockout hadn't set in yet. This is why The End of the World is one of my favorite episodes of the revival series.

The romance thing is funny because there's clues that suggest that Nami and Luffy might be banging and keeping it professional later in the manga. And you have a really good point about women training with men. Knowing men have a physical advantage, having women train at said disadvantage would eventually teach them to compensate.

Oh lord, the Vincent episode is SO good. I think, for many people, their favorite Doctor often turns out to be the Doctor they were introduced to the series through. My personal favorite is Tom Baker, closely followed by John Pertwee. Of the newer Doctors, I absolutely adore Eccelston. The man does not get enough credit for his portrayal by so many fans.
